Introduction

The BMW GS 1200 is a wonderful bike. I purchased mine in October of 2005. With this blog you will get to see my travels as I create items and adapt it into the GS 1200 it was meant to be. The projects to date are:

• DIY Lexan protector for the head lamps
• DIY Light bar and lamps
• DIY Wiring harness for above lamps and future accesories
• DIY Bar clamp and shifter screw

In progress are the:

• DIY Carbon fiber dash
• DIY Rear LED and LED marker lamps in carbon fiber license plate holder
• DIY taller Windshield

Join the travels as you save money and create your own individual bike. As always you are responsible for your safety. If you do not think you are capable of completing a project safety then do not attempt. The line of safety when riding a motorcyle is pretty thin so don't take chances.
